The Challenge

With an established reputation for sourcing Spain’s finest produce for the UK’s professional gourmet business, predominantly eminent award-winning chefs, restaurants and leading hotels, Iberflavours required a new website that best encapsulated and presented their comprehensive product range, inspiring Iberian dishes and added-value business services.

A key requirement was to embed an adaptable, user-friendly CMS, build and UI design that on the website completion and handover the client in-house team could manage, support and upgrade on an ongoing basis.

The Solution

We opted to use a secure, stable and reliable open-source CMS that provided a straightforward, practical back-end user interface. After creating wireframes, we modified a designed template to provide optimal flexibility within the overall website and brand design parameters to accommodate future modifications as the product range extended, and new services were added as Iberflavours evolved and expanded.

The Results

Aside from increased site visits, page views and engagement and new leads via contact form submissions, a very satisfied Client team is always a very positive result. However, for Ratio the biggest compliment came when, owing to COVID-19, the client had to pivot their business from being dedicated to B2B to provide a DTC (direct to consumer) offer.

With strategic advice from Ratio, the client team adapted the website to incorporate an e-commerce shop offer. They also adapted the navigation, added new pages, updated content, and added a newly created Newsletter to help drive and build their new consumer database.
