More Than A VDR
There was a desire to position Intralinks beyond the commodity sell, and push the value of the product, and its features, at every step of the M&A process – not just at the due diligence phase.
‘More than a VDR’ was created as a strapline to communicate this shift in position.
Ratio was tasked with creating a microsite to support this message and deliver a destination to drive marketing traffic. At the time, the Intralinks.com site had very limited content and could not scale fast enough to support the demand in EMEA for this new messaging.
We developed a multi-language microsite morethanavdr.com, supporting the UK, France, Germany, Spain, Japan, Singapore, the US and Brazil.
The site catered for 3 personas – advisors, legal and corporate development.
The primary call to action was to sign up to ‘prep a deal’, which means businesses got free access to a deal room and up until the due diligence phase.
Ratio implemented and managed the SEO and link-building strategy for the UK and German sites, delivering and maintaining high-ranking performance. Lead generation platform trials across all regions were delivered, leading to MQLs / conversions of deal rooms, and achieving significant revenue.
Increased brand awareness and understanding of products led to new clients across M&A and Corporate Development markets in EMEA, North America, APAC and LATAM.
